About us

Originally, we didn’t set out to create an unusually good gifting company. We had simply set out to create an unusually good blog. We wanted to make something stylish, simple and fabulous and to beget major amounts of happiness for our readers in the process.

We searched for gift basket providers online and found tons – but we didn’t like them. The outdated "basket" feel, the overall generic-ness, and the general lack of joie de vivre made us realise our calling.

Instead of settling for the status quo, we designed our own gorgeously hip gift boxes! Combining our love for festive treats, beautiful design and unique products, our handpicked gift boxes became a huge hit. Soon, people were asking us to design luxury gifts for them. We thought: sure. And Pink Cupcakes was born… so that everyone could treat themselves to hip gifts for the girl about town!

It's so simple, we make gift boxes you love, you order them for the people you love and we donate a portion of the proceeds to charity. Voila...happiness abounds!
